Dimitrie Cantemir University has an extraordinary example of good practice in education and research from our Erasmus KA171 project!

Dimitrie Cantemir University  contributed here in EU (Romania) to the development of education and research in the partner African countries.

Prof.dr.habil. Mihai Voda trained an Erasmus master student (Ronald Ssembajwe) and developed scientific research in Africa, publishing the results with him as first author in two Q1 journals!

Ronald Ssembajwe arrived in Romania to study with prof.dr.habil. Mihai Voda in 2023 as Erasmus student from Makerere University Uganda. The results of their activities were sent to the Agricultural Water Management (Q1 journal) and published in December 2024:

Dimitrie Cantemir University selected him to come again in 2024 as Erasmus student exchange, extended the Erasmus collaboration with staff from Cameroon, sent their results to the International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation (Q1 journal) and got published in May 2025:
